ICC Compliance Center Has Acquired Regulatory Company iHazmat

ICC The Compliance Center Inc. has acquired iHazmat Regulatory Ltd., a multiservice dangerous goods regulatory company located in Burnaby, British Columbia that offers training, SDS authoring, repacking services, and other compliance products, as of June 7th, 2021. Both companies are excited for the acquisition, which will offer a broader range of quality regulatory services and products to a greater number of customers.

Through this acquisition, iHazmat Ltd. will become iHazmat, A Division of ICC Compliance Center. Clients of iHazmat will have access to an increased range of comprehensive courses, classes, and material to choose from. They will also have access to a wider range of high-quality products including labels, placards, and dangerous goods packaging that ICC Compliance Center has become well-known for industry wide.

FAQ’s for Previous iHazmat Customers

Will I phone/fax the same number to submit an order?

Yes, the local phone number will remain the same. These calls will be answered either locally as in the past or by our Customer Relationship Center (CRC) who will be happy to take your order or help you with any regulatory/compliance needs. You can also call directly at 1-888-977-4834 to place an order.

Will I speak to the same customer service personnel?

iHazmat customers will now be directed to the ICC Customer Relationship Center (CRC). Our CRC representatives are knowledgeable, helpful, and well-trained. They have been helping customers with their regulatory inquiries and needs for over 35 years and have helped our customers navigate many demanding and difficult regulatory situations.

Will I receive a new customer account number?

Yes, ICC’s customer and order management system is separate from the iHazmat system, so if you are new customer to ICC, we will issue you a new account number upon your first order with us after June 7, 2021.

Where and who do I submit payment to for my orders and services?

Effective June 7, 2021, all payments and cheques should be made out to ICC Compliance Center and sent to:

Those customers paying via EFT will have to make changes in their payment routing. For assistance with this, please contact our Accounts Receivables department at 1-888-977-4834 if you have not received the banking information.

Will email addresses change for iHazmat staff?

All existing emails for iHazmat staff will continue to be directed to the appropriate staff receiving those emails. For any further communications/replies, you will notice the iHazmat email address being updated with the following format: [email protected].

Will existing contracts with iHazmat remain valid?

Any contracts with iHazmat will be reviewed and audited on an individual basis. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help you.

Will the products that I order from iHazmat be the same as it was before?

No, the products that you purchase from ICC will differ from those you received from iHazmat. Having been in the dangerous goods regulatory and compliance industry for over 33 years, ICC endeavours to provide our clients with premium products, and previous iHazmat customers will notice an improvement in both the quality and price of the products they order.

As the manufacturer of the majority of the products that we supply for our customers, we are able to ensure their quality throughout the production process. For those products that we do not manufacture, we have vendors who promise the same high quality in their materials and products.

We also offer an abundant catalogue of products, training courses, and other services available to ICC customers, and have friendly, knowledgeable Customer Relationship representatives to help if you get stuck or have any questions!

Will the process for registering for training remain the same?

The process for training course registration will change from that which iHazmat customers are accustomed to. The ICC process of online registration for training courses is simple and streamlined, but if you do have questions or get stuck, we have supportive Customer Relationship representatives ready to help! Our National Training Coordinator is also available to help you find the best courses for your regulatory and compliance needs.

Will the current iHazmat location remain open?

No, all operations will move to our local branch located at:
